At Toyota of Rockwall, we believe in more than selling cars, we believe in building a stronger, more compassionate community. That’s why we were proud to once again participate in the Toyota Dealer Match Program, which allows us to partner with incredible nonprofits who are making lasting impacts right here at home.

On Thursday, August 7th, we hosted our annual Match Grant Check Pick-Up Celebration in the Toyota of Rockwall showroom! This special event is one of our favorite traditions, where we recognize outstanding local organizations, present their grant checks, and recognize the amazing work they’re doing in our community!

This year, we awarded a total of $20,000 in grant funds to five nonprofits who are creating meaningful, lasting change:

• Sharing Life 
• RCISD Education Foundation
• Bright Lights Theatre
• Unspoken Motherhood, Inc.
• Shoes for Kids

Meet the 2025 Grant Recipients!

Sharing Life Community Outreach

Our grant supported general operations, helping Sharing Life continue providing critical resources to families in crisis. From groceries, clothing, education and financial assistance, this support allows them to serve with compassion and dignity.

RCISD Education Foundation

This initiative honors the memory of Melissa Williams, a beloved Pre-K paraprofessional, by ensuring underserved children can attend the book fair and purchase their own books. Our grant helps RCISD students build home libraries, foster a lifelong love for reading, and strengthen literacy across the district.

Bright Lights Theatre

Bright Lights partners with parents and guardians to mentor and disciple children and teens through the performing arts. Thanks to this grant, Bright Lights will continue their tradition of ensuring no student is turned away due to financial barriers—every scholarship request has been met for the past five years, and this year will be no different.

Unspoken Motherhood, Inc.

Unspoken Motherhood walks alongside mothers and families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Their team of Nurse Advocates provides compassionate care, resources, and support in moments of grief. This grant funded the gift baskets and boxes given to mothers, filled with comfort items and resources to remind them they are not alone.

Shoes for Kids

Hosted by First United Methodist Church Rockwall, Shoes for Kids has provided shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and more to local students for over 20 years. This year, over 2,100 children were served, and our grant specifically funded new shoes, often the first new pair many students have ever received!
